Well, the PFCMs are $41 from National Fleet Parts, and based on my prior
experience with them, are as good (if not a touch better) than the Ford pads
for $65 from Ford Parts Network. These two are probably the best bet for the
$$$. The EBCs, Porterfields and Carbotechs are all more than this.
Although, when I ordered two Porterfield R4S front sets (at $89 each) and
one rear seat (at $59) I only got charged for the two front sets, so it
turned out to be a deal!!

Use the Ford pads, or a set of Raybestos PG PLus (if you are going to spend
the money on these just get Ford pads) The 19.99 pads at AZ are OK for
grocery fetching but for highway drivin they are dangerous IMO. They
modulate very poorly and will fade after one 65-0 stop. The compound is an
organic/semi met mix. I have a set as a back up to the back ups.

Well I have to try to get this damn thing back on the road tonight.
I think I'll just get whatever they have in the 598 size and worry
about getting some good pads later.
Yeah, if you get into the brake survey, there is a little note about
not having them in the 598 size and to use the other.
