[Shotimes] poor starting

I have a 93 ATX that is having problems starting. It usually cranks for 5-6 seconds and either starts or I back off of the ignition. If I back off and retry it starts right away. I have replaced the fuel filter and crank shaft position sensor. I looked at the archives and saw something about a barometer sensor? The info was confusing for the ATX. It does somethimes start right away ( 10 % of the time ).

Any ideas?
