No it doesn't....I've been doing that the entire lifetime of the Lowrider, and it
has had ZERO tranny or diff troubles.   I showed everyone who wanted to see how to
do it last year at Frederick.

All you have to do is be careful...take it up slowly, and down slowly, and start off
in 4th, and shift to 5th for checks over 100 mph.

I've been doing that forever, I demonstrate that way all the time, and I'll keep
doing it.  If a Quaife is installed, one simply removes the other wheel.
