[Shotimes] 86 slat grille

Another observation from the 86 Taurus brochure:  The "L" (base) model is
shown with a black, louvred grill.  Three slats, four openings running all
the way across the grille.  The brochure was published in September 1985.  I
guess that this grille never made it into production.  There's some
discussion in Eric Taub's book about Lou Veraldi cancelling the slatted
grille.

Just curious, has anyone ever seen such a grille on a real car?
