[Shotimes] Convention Travel Through St. Louis

Those traveling through St. Louis should avoid downtown. The I-70 east ramp
crossing the river into IL just closed for rebuild. Traffic is detoured onto
city streets then merged with the north bound I-44 & I-55 traffic to exit to
IL.

I-55 and I-44 traffic should take I-270 south to I-255 east to loop around
the St. Louis downtown area to connect up to I-55 north bound traffic in IL.

I-70 traffic should take I-270 north (east) to I-255 to loop around the St.
Louis downtown area to connect up to I-55 north bound traffic in IL.

Watch out for speeding tickets on I-270 and IL state police use unmarked
Camaros and Mustangs.

FYI, Mapquest says 6 1/2 hours to the Convention hotel from the west side of
St. Loius.
