Should be doable, but not without some fabrication and cutting.  The Gen 3/4
rear seat back bolts in with 4 bolts to the trunk panel, as opposed to the 2
bolts and clips used in the Gen 1/2.  Not sure how the top of the seat would
look against the rear shelf though, and you would need to cut away part of
the trunk wall to take advantage of the fold down option.  Bracing may be
required after this, as you'd be cutting out a structural member of the
Flex-o-matic Gen 1/2 body.
