Ok, so last week I lost 1st and 2nd gear, posted a
question, got some answers (thanks to those who
replied, y'all are life-savers), and took the SHO to
the tranny shop. Turns out I still had a cable shifter
set-up, even though I have a late-model 91 (thought 91
was the year they went to the rod set-up...oh well).
The guy there said that not only would the rod setup
be a helluva lot better then the cable, it was also
cheaper. So, hey, whadda ya know, I have a rod shifter
now. YEA!!!! for me and my ignorance.
