Welcome to the list!

1) The overflow bottle problem has already been mentioned, I don't know
of any others. I've always heard the SHO's cooling system is very good
in stock form, and can tell you I'm happy with my replacement from
http://www.radiator.com

2) I'm using Redline MTL in my 92 (brass synchros). I like the GL-4
(thicker) stuff better than the ATF stuff I had been running. Your
tranny should have the paper synchros though, so you might try ATF
before GL-4.

3) There always seems to be more east coast stuff going on than what
we've got here in the midwest.

4) I have heard good things about these: http://www.wetokole.com/

Hope this helps,

Hello everyone !!

I am new to this group.....just purchased a fine, fine 94 MTX. Prior
owner
was Carl Weissman...car is is truly excellent condition with a fine mix
of
aftermarket goodies (engine, exhaust, suspension, wheels, tires) that
bring
the car to a fine state of tune. Carl did a fine job
maintaining/building
this car. I had prior owned an 89 SHO MTX..alas the car was sold to me
unethically as I found out is was a flood car and a bottomless pit of
wasted
cash....my new 94 is stellar car...I forgot just how great a SHO is.
this
baby has 98k on it and had the 60k service done about 10k ago.

I have a few questions to ask for those who might offer assistance:

1) I am replacing the radiator with a new SHO Shop 2-core....any tips
on
replacement install, ie: tips, problems, etc ?

2) I am pondering replacing the 5sp tranny oil..I hear the Redline ATX
fluis
the SHO Shop sells may improve shifting while maintaining excellent
tranny
protection ?

3) Are there any SHO gatherings "somewhat" local to New Jersey up and
coming? I would love to attend.

4) I am seeking seat covers for my front leather seats....they get
"sticky"
in this hot weather..any recommendations ? I dont think I want to go
the
expense and bulk of sheepskin covers....other alternatives?

Gracias in advance...

Kirk
