Ron,

The grenaded tranny (I assume the original, 190k on the odo) had brass
synchros. I fished them out of the busted mess. The build date on my car
is late 91 from what I can tell, maybe that's why. My replacement came
from Tim Dahm's 91. He had the quaife installed and confirmed it too has
brass.

Justin, your '92 has the "paper" synchros, unless you replaced it with
a
pre-'91 tranny.
