I have found the same, the summer-only warm-weather tires are much better
rain tires than any all-season I've had. Although the Nitto 450s have been
very good rain tires for being all-season.

Keep in mind, just because a tire is referred to as "summer only", or "ultra
high performance" does not mean that it will not be good in the rain. My
Kumho summer tires are noticeably better rain tires than any of the "all
season" tires I have on my other two cars.

better than a less expensive all-season tire, especially from the same

the list of 76 available tires in that size. I picked the ones that I was
interested in and did some comparisons. I want to be sure I don't slide
around in wet weather so I concentrate on all-season tires.
