Where were you buddy when I need you!!!!  :-)

Yes, step 3 is the trick.  The PS hoses reduce the amount of room you have
to work in that space and to get a ratchet in there to undo the little
bolts.  It's amazing how in the heat of the moment sometimes you don't see
the easier route is to disassemble a little bit more to save time overall.

Step 4 is unnecessary.

Evan,  Please consider adding a section to the FAQ on this repair.  It is a
common enough problem that it warrants its own write-up.
