I bought a 3.2 motor from a salvage yard that had bonafide 23k on it. Engine is as clean as the one in this picture.

But your right .. arent many of those motors around.

Some old times know the story .. but at one point in my SHO ownership I went through about 5 motors in the course of 5 years. One motor I got was a ford test motor that had been dynoed than crated. Had 11 miles on it. Same as this motor.

Sweet , sweet motor. Only problem was when we started it after it was sitting for 5 years is one valve spring was weak and would rattle a little ( had to be replaced ) and the head gaskets had been eaten away by coolant. Had to put new head gaskets on the motor. Than she purred real nice.

I got the motor from a company in Orlando that had been used as a test facility by ford and one of the perks Ford gave them was this motor.

"That motor is easily worth $2000 or more. I don't think I've EVER seen a Yamahammer that clean in my life."
