[Shotimes] To service or not to service?

The computer takes just a few moments to swap out.  As I understand, the
D4U1 has improved shifting controls over the H3Z series.  Results in less
slipping during shifts.  As for a recommendation, I could see improved
shifting in my trans after the swap.  Have also heard others say they saw no
change.  If you are already having problems with your trans, the damage is
done.  Changing the computer doesn't repair it.  You will still need a
rebuild.

Interesting post, couple of questions here....

How difficult is it to change out the computer in a 93 for the newer one?

Is this something that you would recommend on a tranny that wasn't newly
rebuilt?
