[Shotimes] rear brake questions

There seems to be a lot of variabilities here. When I replaced the front
rotors w/AZ "whitebox" Chinese rotors, and installed PFC pads, I bedded them
in according to the FAQ on SHOtimes. That is, hard stops, followed by rest
periods. At any rate when I was done I did the old "hand 1inch away and see
how hot it feels" test; the rears were VERY hot. Quite unscientific, but it
told me that my rear brakes were working fine.
