Thanks to Ron Porter, at his advice I used denatured alcohol to remove the
Lexol "build-up" on my seats. Cant really say what the sticky build-up was
other than it appeared after I applied Lexol conditioner, but whatever it
was it sure was NOT water soluble.. this aspect may remain a mystery
The alcohol worked great...altho slowly as it evaporates quickly so alot of
rags had to be used to keep a clean rage surface to the area to be cleaned.
As youmay remember I had resorted to steel wool, which also worked great but
has a definite down-side....
alcohol works like a charm..thanks Ron !!! I will now re-apply Lexol
(carefully) to the leather......
I will also say that alcohol removed dirt that no cleanser touched so if you
have ground in dirt, you might want to try the (denatured) alcohol routine.
Thanks
Kirk
