On the subject of road racing, there are two types: street circuit and
dedicated circuit. Each has it's own feel and characteristics. In watching
the Vancouver race last night, it reminded me that that I really don't like
street circuits as much as the dedicated type. Hard to pinpoint the exact
reason, but the "boxed-in" feeling and the lack of a consistent road surface
are two easy ones I can think of.
