Don, It's called brand loyalty. You were just adamantly saying recently how
a Buick person would NEVER own a Pontiac, etc..
Yes, people realize that they can't get a 700 HP pushrod V8 in their FWD
Monte Carlo, but they root for and buy Chevy products, based on this loyalty
and to some extent how Chevy does in the various forms of racing.
Ford allowing Chevy to use their motor (and it is/was a Ford-owned motor,
you can't argue that) is just plain stupid. I think it was a bad decision,
for several reasons, but we can stop arguing about it.
