If you really, truly, don't have anything better to do:

From: Donn Seeley <donn@BSDI.COM>

In today's HTML O' The Day list, you failed to mention that the
otherwise innocent-looking web page

                 http://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/~mgk25/iso-paper.html

on the earthly origin of ISO standard paper sizes has a link to

                 http://homepage.virgin.net/vernon.jenkins/PS.htm

on the divine origin [sic] of ISO paper sizes.

At first I thought this page might be a joke, but I went to the index
page (just drop the last component of the URL) and the author appears
to be a serious Bible Code enthusiast with a lot of time on his hands.
In the course of things, he manages to prove the divine origin of base
10 numeric representations AND the metric system. This is the most
creatively screwy web page I've seen in a long, long time -- thanks!

He even notes that the standard name 'ISO 216' has a connection to the
Book of Revelation: 216 = 6 * 6 * 6!

Don't drink this guy's Kool-Aid,

Donn

PS -- Another link in the original page goes to the New Jersey standard
for toilet paper sizes. Whee!
