         Careful with this;  An auto is not long enough to support a 100 Hz 
wave.  At 100 Hz,  the wavelength is about 10'.  Much of the output that 
you hear below that is a pressure/resonance phenom and it can be dependent 
on where you sit/mike.  Wanna hear where all the bass is coming from in the 
little Acura's and Civics?  Pound on the windshield.  The one note bass is 
because the car is a drum.
         So when you use a sound level meter,  you have to make sure you 
are not situating it at a null point where reflections cancel direct 
sound.  It is easier to listen for cancelation/proper summation at the 
crossover freq.
