My tach doesn't work in the black car.  Mark N. tested it with another DIS, and it
worked.  You might have an intermittent connection in the plugs on either side of
the DIS module.  I don't know which wire has to do with the tach....the black car's
DIS is not obviously broken, to my sight, but Mark found it instantly.

He probably knows which wires are which....as well as some of the other wiring gurus
here.
