Listen to Mark!  I had this same problem back in 97, it is not what you want
to happen...unless you what an excuse for a quaife!

I agree, but stop driving it.  That swinging strap is like a lawn mower
blade right now, whacking away in the inside of your tranny case (clutch
housing).  It can cut deep enough to get into the "wet" area of the tranny,
then you'll have a rough running car that needs a clutch AND a tranny :)
