SHO NUT (for now anyway) doesn't offer the stock kits as his costs went up.
He should by now (or soon) have his new line-up of clutches on his website.
Some HD pressure plates (bigger straps and rivets) and some 4 puck, 6 puck,
and 9 puck custom discs. The fibertuff 9 puck discs have a real strong
disc/hub, and drive like a stocker, real friendly material. This would be a
nice upgrade to the stock clutch as it has the big straps and rivets on the
pressure plate (nice to have when drag or road racing and shifting at high
rpm). The 9 puck fibertuff may give you a bit more holding power, dunno how
much though. I have one for my 92 (haven't installed yet) but did install
one awhile back on a 91 and it's a nice set-up.
I have a 4 paddle ceramic I will be installing on the 89 this weekend w/ an
alum flywheel.
The ceramic TOB and HD straps/rivets are just durability mods, helping to
keep the unit from holding up with time/age. they do nothing to improve
actual clutch performance, that's only done through more clamp load or a
different friction discs.
