As I told Carl in an earlier private post, I would personally only go to a
17" rim on a SHO if I were installing bigger brakes that required them,
otherwise I would stay with a 16" rim. Good tire choices, handling can be as
good (if not better on rough surfaces), and also lighter weight.
I hope when you say a "pair" of 17x7 wheels that you already have 17x7 for
the other two rims. Mixing different tires on rims is bad enough, mixing rim
sizes is over the top!!

ADR makes a wheel called the RS Limited MASE, i think its a 5spoke, and it
weighs in at ~17.5lbs, but it only comes in a 17X7in I might end up with a
pair of them next spring. Less someone dies or I win some money.
