[Shotimes] Suspension/steering questions

Well the Konis I got (free mind you) were already mounted in housings and
are cut a little too short. I have a line on a few used Taurus OEM housings,
and I'm gonna chop a few and have some tube pieces welded on to the current
housing to "extend" them and make them just the right length so that the
knurled part is drawn in.
Are strut bearings packaged seperately from strut mounts? If so is it
possible that my strut bearings may be shot and the mounts are fine? I get
some clunking over bumps where the strut is compressed rapidly for short
little bumps.
Bruce
