Lighter car, and different fuel injectors are the only differences. A few
sensor plugs too but that wouldn't account for anything.

If you get the tranny rebuilt be sure to get the torque converter done
too. '96-97s are the best IMHO. '98s have speedo problems and the '99
is a stripped version. Though it nay be the lightest, even though it is
lacking in the suspension department.
