[Shotimes] Gen 3 SHO's, I have to admit this...

I've had a 97 and now a 99 and I personally like the 99 the best. There
are little changes to the interior that I like, the removal of the SARC
struts is a plus to me and I prefer the 99 wheels over the previous
years.
For the most part, they're all pretty much the same on the major things.
The 98-99 interiors with the 'mocha' are much nicer than the 96-97
'saddle'. Plus, the 99's are faster!! :p

Some may argure that the 99 susp. is better, some say worse. The 99
susp.
system is not SARC equipped, the shocks are valved differently that the
SLO's though. I say that the 99 will be the easiest to modufy susp.
wise and not have to play with wires and sensors.

If you get the tranny rebuilt be sure to get the torque converter done
too.
'96-97s are the best IMHO. '98s have speedo problems and the '99 is a
stripped version. Though it nay be the lightest, even though it is
lacking in the suspension department.
