I wasn't paying super-close attention to the first part of the thread, but
where did you find this piece?

The motor that was blown up in the 91 when I bought it had piston pieces,
bearing parts, and parts of piston rings (big ones, several inches long)
that vented from the crankcase to the intake.  Found them in the surge
tanks.  How does the V8 crankcase vent to the TB/Intake?  The V6 uses a
fairly large hose which can allow pretty good size "stuff" through it.
