The rule book don't work here, if it went through the valves they would show
some kind of marking in the seat side of the valve( Which there is NO
evidence). The pieces that were pulled out could have built 2 electrodes.

Law of physics still apply - Unless the piston lip is broken down to the
ring or there's a whole in the cylinder wall and ring is broken, it can be a
ring. So, it has to be piece of valve stem (or seat but intact) or spark
plug electrode (diameter?) or part of the intake butterflies (easy to
check). Assuming air filter in place.
