[Shotimes] A/C problems get interesting

For some reason my ac clutch will not engage by its self, but it will by jumping power directly to it.  I have tried to jump out the presure switch and the sensor on the acumulator.  Neither of these got the clutch to engage.  Doese anybody know what else it could possibly be?  And doese the SHO have a "sunload sensor"? or a EATC in vehicle sensor?  What are these things and could either of them be keeping my clutch from engaging?  Please help.
