If you use the incorrect pad, make sure that you resurface your rotors 
when you upgrade to the correct ones. Otherwise, there is going to be 
serious uneven wear on the swept area. Not really saving money in the 
long run by going that route.

FWIW, I like Porterfield pads. R4S compound is currently what I am 
running.
