I'd be seriously shocked to see that this car had crank cancer. It is a 0
(or very near 0) mile motor. I'm happy for him that his mechanic messed the
car up, because the crank damper bolt was torqued down to a whopping 60
ft/lbs and he may have found himself experiencing crank cancer down the
road. The timing sprocket is on tight and has no play.
As for the crank sensor, if it is not spaced, would it produce ANY tach
signal at all? I haven't seen one that wasn't spaced correctly as of yet so
I don't know.
