I've had similar no start problems that were electrical in nature. Does the 
fuel pump cycle up when the key is energized? If not you are in for the 
famous break out box 60 pin connector diagnosis of no start condition from 
the ETVM manual. Carerfully check your ground resistances and hot feed and 
reference voltages and you will probably find your problem. The ETVM flow 
charts are pretty comprehensive for such no start problems.

If the extra hole on the cam sprockets on both ends on the cams are lined up 
with the blind holes in the cams, then cam timing should not be the issue 
here.
