I used Belden wires from NAPA ($101.00) and Autolite double platinum plugs
($6.00 each, $36.00) and gained seat of the pants performance (huge
difference) I had Autolite copper plugs in before with stock wires prior to
that.

Yeah, I learned about plugs for my SHO the hard way. I went to NAPA and got
some NGK PFR5G-11. Even SHOtimes says they are a valid alternative to the
AGSP32PP motorcraft plug. I installed the NGK plus with some Carol plugwires
from Autozone.
This is the first SHO I've owned, and it was running bad when I bought it
so
I wasn't really sure how much power it should have, or feel like it should
have. But I knew after the tune up it should have more than it did.
Well after doing some more research on the message boards, and asking
questions here (everyone was very friendly and helpful) I knew I should
order
some Motorcraft plugs and wires (nobody in town stocked them).
I changed the plugs and wires out yesterday. Man what a difference! I've
owned several V8 Mustangs 87-91 models, and it now has close to the pull of
a
stock Mustang. I especially like the way it pulls from 4 - 7,000 rpms. = )
I've very pleased now with my SHO. I just wanted to post my expierence with
plugs and wires to save anyone who is about to do their first tune-up on
their
SHO some cash.
