There is no performance to be "gained" in plugs and wires alone on an SHO.
All you did was to restore lost performance. Your old plugs and/or wires
were old and worn out and were overdue for replacement.
If you're lucky, those plugs and wires will work for a long time. My money
would be on the Motorcrafts outliving them significantly. For only $84 for
the wires and about $4 each for the plugs, why spend more for what may be
less?
