Yes, that's the whole purpose of the flex pipe.

The SHO Shop cat-back uses Edelbrock Performer RPM mufflers.  The mufflers
are stainless steel, but the pipes are aluminized steel.  I've had my SHO
Shop exhaust for over 4 years and I love the sound and I've gotten many
compliments.
