So it's a nice day out today, and my rad end tank on my drivers side leaks a
little. I'm thinking of trying that fix that the shotimes site says about
re-crimping the end tank, for at least a temporary stop to the leaking till I
can put the cash together to buy a new radiator or have this one fixed at a
shop and see about having aluminum tanks put on to replace the plastic ones.
Or for that matter see what it would cost to have a 2 core radiator made up
for me at a local shop, but these are all things I'm thinking about down the
line.

Anyhow, the rea question I have is has anyone done this re-crimping and did it
work, and for how long? My leak isn't too bad, and if I can keep it from
leaking tooo much for another 2-3 months I'll be able to replace or repair the
radiator properly. Is there any kind of selant that can go on the outside near
the crimps to help?
