[Shotimes] Gen 3 question

I know where I can get a fairly low mileage Gen 3 SHO that has been wrecked
and totaled out by the owners INS company. I haven't gotten any more details
that that from him, but at the time of the loss the car ran fine. Now to me
that says that the engine is prolly in great shape. I know nothing about the
GEN 3's but I was wondering, what I could get for say the engine and tranny if
I were to buy it and part it. I'm talking a realistic expectation for a
complete motor, granted I don't have mileage info yet. I'm looking at this car
cause he hasn't sold it in a while. I'm thinking that I could get the car for
a steal, and make a few quick bucks off it.

Any thoughts?
