Ahem.  Ladies and Gentlemen, tonight the part of Dorothy will be played by
Lisa Metros.

I think it was the Tin Man who said to the Scarecrow:

"Oh what thoughts were you thinkin'
When you bought another Lincoln?
If you'd only used your brain..."

Or maybe the Scarerow himself said it best:

"And my wife I'm busy racin'
While my lead I'm erasin'...
Oh I wish I'd used my brain..."

All in good fun.  Kurt and Lisa are my friends, and we have the Mayberry RFD
to thank for that.  (p.s. Considering the speeds we reached that day, it's
ironic we ate lunch in a place with a cop-car theme.)   ;-)

I now have the V8 with Sport package.  FWIW, with the AWA driving the LS and
me in the MTX SHO, it's about dead even from a stop to 50 or so - not sure
about at speed, but my butt dyno says the SHO is quicker from a 50 mph on
up.

As a side note, I'd NEVER buy another LS....maybe not another Ford at the
rate this things giving me problems.  The only reason I have the V8 is
because they bought back the V6 as a lemon and threw enough cash at it to
make the $3,500 V8 option feasible.
