Mark,

I recently refilled my system, if when running your AC the pipe on the low
side (near the firewall) is not very cold when doing it 1 normal can of
R-134a should be ok to add without a gauge. It should feel like ice when the
AC is on. I had to add 2 can's of stuff to my system, but then again I have
the gauge, and I also had a leak around one o-ring in the front. Luckily the
sealers and conditioners in the frist can I added made that leak stop, so I
can wait till fall to fix it, and I'll prolly replace my accumlator, and
redo all the o-rings and garter springs on all the connections.

1 can won't hurt anything if you're lines aren't very cold. Add a can, then
see how it feels. IF it is kinda cold, stop there till you get a gauge.
