Very well put Josh.  There are several Installers out there, especially 
around here that think it is a necessity to always bypass the amps.  
Sometimes this is better, alot of the times it is worse.  The rewire is BS 
though, having done it before, I know u can rewire the amps out of the car in 
about... oh 2 minutes depending on how fast u find the trunk key and how much 
junk is in the trunk.  :)  Like I said before.. a good HU is always the best 
start! :)
