I think it was my use of the word "abuse" that got some danders up.  To me,
abuse is doing something to machinery, in this case, that it wasn't designed
to take.  And the truth is the Taurus drivetrain was never designed for
dragstrip use.  But don't misunderstand, I don't mean to disparage anyone
who does that.  Their business entirely.  But as Ian said, don't whine when
it breaks.
