Hi- I am posting a '90 that my cousin would like to sell. He upgraded to '95
after the transmission failed and it has been sitting in their barn ever since.

History- My dad actually bought this car in '95 with 80k miles on it. He gave it
to my brother four years later, who then sold it to my cousin and bought my '92.
The car has always been reliable (with the exception of the recent tranny
problems)and has always been a family favorite because it seems to always be
there- its affectionately known as the "the silver bullet". Anyway, my point is,
I can pretty much tell you everything that has been done with this car in the
past 8 years. (Also, I ran a carfax on it once and found out it was purchased
originally in Detroit and my dad was the third owner)

Specs- Its a fully loaded (sunroof, jbl (replaced deck), leather) silver 1990
with black interior. I am going to have to check into this because I dont
remember the exact mileage-but it has around 175-180,000 miles on it. It has
newer tires, recent clutch, 60k was done about three years ago (about 15-20,000
miles ago) and I reinforced the plug well gaskets when I was in there. The
interior is in good shape except for the ripped driver seat and as far as I
know, everything works except the fog lamps. The body is also in nice condition
for its age- it does have some rust in the normal spots, but it looks nice for
its age. My cousin, although young, absolutely loved this car took very good
care of it- always cleaned it etc.and from what I saw, rarely beat on it. I can
can get anyone who is interested more specs at their request and pictures.

Whats wrong- The only thing I know is that the tranny is dropping fluid like
crazy. The car will drive, but obviously its not recommended. It runs like a
top, and last time I drove it ( a few months ago) it seemed to still have alot
of power. The other bad news is that I know that it needs new struts(although
the car has needed new struts for a couple of years) and Im guessing that it
needs new subframe bolts and engine mounts. It still drives nice, but sloppy if
you know what I mean. It did have a new steering rack installed about three
years ago.

My cousin is serious about selling this car as he needs to get rid of it. I know
he would at least consider any reasonable offer. I personally think it would be
a great fixer upper as a nicer, older Gen 1 in that relatively rare silver color
(this car would look great with slicers!). The car is located in Blissfield,
Michigan, approximately an hour and twenty minutes southwest of Detroit, or 30
minutes west of Toledo, Ohio. I'll be the go-between guy for now, so if anyone
is remotely interested, feel free to drop me at line at the below address or
Shanekenner@hotmail.com, or call me at 517-443-5918.
Being a longtime list lingerer and one who has bought things from other listers,
I'd like to see this car go to a Shotimer.

thanks for your time,

Shane
