Well you do realize there are two different brake cleaner formulas,
chlorinated and non-chlorinated. The non-chlorinated type is almost
identical to the Chemtool. Usually can get it here for around a $1.00 a can
on sale. The non-chlorinated brake cleaner will strip the enamel off of
your brakes.
If you have a very heavy carbon build up the jell type paint remover will
also work well. Agfain the same chemical make-up as Chemtool.
