why are u replacing the main bearings 

Really havent followed this thread but i have pulled motors with spum rod bearings and motors with over 200 K and the mains were in great shape.

Just curious .... and to answer your question ... if it was me doing main bearings too ... i would pull the motor and put it on a engine stand
