Well if everyone on the list is sick of OT, this might make for a good
discussion.

I was reading some old SHO Registry magazines today when I came across an
article entitled "Super SHO II".

The article was basically an informative experience on Logicam camshafts that
the owner had installed in his car.

The not so interesting: he claimed an all around the board increase from the
cams. I've never seen a set of "performance" cams for a high reving motor
that didn't drop the low end torque. This gentleman claimed that the low end
torque was greatly increased. With a wider overlap and a longer lift, I'm not
sure I can understand how this came to be. Logically, it makes no sense.

The very interesting: He made a very bold claim that the car did an 11.87 1/4
mile and a 5.0 (0 - 60) time. He was going to list his mods, but oh shucks,
it would have to wait for the next installment. :>)

Why I mentioned your name Don: The article stated that you were the first to
ride in this "Super SHO" so I figured that perhaps you or some of the other
oldies could shed some light on this.

That is all for today. Hope everyone is having a great extended weekend!
