[Shotimes] A/C tips not in the manual

If you got 50 degree, its working basically OK. No need to see a shop.
Try adding a half can, and see if it lowers temp.
If it does, it is OK to add a half can more. If not, stop. Repeat til
add two cans or no temp drop, then stop. It's OK to "overfill" by a half
can, but a half can under might not be cold.

If still not cold enough, then calibrate the temp cycle switch. Remove
temp cycle switch, and test it for on / off using an air compressor, off
car. I've tested 6 and they were all 28 psi. Manual says 21-28 psi.
Adjust screw inside til 21 psi. This simple adjustment dropped my dash
temp 8-10 degrees. to 45.

Factory manual says 46 degrees or better out of the center vent, high
fan, max cool, normal temps outside, after 10 min, fast idle.
Could barely get my 89 to do that. I even had to put a shut-off valve
in the heater hose to get that far. It wouldn't crack 60 when I started
on it.
