[Shotimes] Clutch Kits and Ghost Leak

Since getting the transmission out of the '94, and attempting to order
parts I've discovered that Josh at SHONut apparently isn't going to be able
to sell stock clutches, at least for a while, so I'm looking to find out
what the next best place or clutch kit is to get. I'm still planning on
using the SHONut ceramic TOB if I can, since I've only heard good things
about them. Is there any other place I can get a decent price on the stock
clutch, or should I consider a reasonable aftermarket one? Any suggestions
are appreciated.. I want to get the '94 running ASAP and the flywheel is
going to be machined sometime soon, so that leaves us waiting on parts. I
am curious if anyone makes an upgraded pressure plate, as only about 5 of
the 18 fingers look in decent shape on the old one and I think part of the
TOB fell apart (two ring like pieces fell out exposing the ball bearings
when the tranny came off.) Maybe this was the cause for the PP failure. On
the other hand, the friction disc looks really good still. (As compared to
my '95 which could still have an original clutch for all I know @ 146k and
seems to be having disc slippage recently. :/ )

Secondly, how does one go about tracing a ghost oil leak? The '95 has
probably lost at least a quart in the past few weeks. I drive only a short
distance to and from school.. and I think its gone home two weekends (400mi
total for the weekends). The engine bay has an oily smell like the oil is
burning up while the car runs, but at the same time it doesn't leave a
puddle to trace. I've checked the rear of the engine when I replaced the
heater hose and both of the oil sensors are completely clean. I don't think
it's being burned up in the engine due to the smell in the bay. I really am
tired of having to worry about oil loss and possible damage it could cause,
and would gladly replace whatever seals were necessary if I knew where to
find them. I'm going to have a week or so off soon, so I would like to use
that as an opportunity to fix any SHO problems on the '95. I do know that I
have some oil in the plug wells, which I hope to address soon and adjust the
valves while I'm in there. What's the timeframe on simply doing the valve
lash and replacing the gaskets in that area?

Thanks,
Chris
