[Shotimes] PLEASE help, power to JBL sub amp

Please help! I am trying to retrofit JBL to a 92 that came with Premium
Sound. The last chore is to sort out the power wiring for the subwoofer amp.
It seems clear that 1992 JBL is slightly different from 93-95 JBL. Part of my
confusion seems to result from trying to work with parts of mixed years.

I've got three pairs of wires here and want to make sure I connect them
properly.

1. Power from car (yellow 12V+, black ground), constantly on.
2. Wires on "radio choke" are yellow and red.
3. Wires on subwoofer amp are yellow and red.

Looking at the EVTM, it appears I should connect them as follows:

1. Yellow 12V+ from car to yellow on choke (i.e., dirty power into the
choke)
2. Red on choke to yellow on subwoofer amp (i.e., clean power into amp)
3. Red on amp to black ground on car (i.e., ground side of amp)

Could someone who knows PLEASE either confirm I'm right or tell me how I'm
wrong.

Please don't tell me to go by the connectors, that won't work in this case, I
can explain why if you want.

TIA for any help.
