[Shotimes] subwoofer replacement

One of the things that impressed me at the time I bought my SHO, and still
does to some extent even today, is that the JBL system in my car is able to
be played at max volume without any discernable distortion.  If that's what
you meant by the amp not being able to over drive the speakers, then I agree
with the statement.  Is it the best stereo you can get?  Not be a long shot,
but it's not shabby for a factory supplied system.  I've never felt a need
to upgrade in this area.
