[Shotimes] overdrive light

 Your wires are broken inside the insulation and have not pulled in two yet.
When you cycle the shifter from drive to park you are moving the wire
harness and allowing the wires to make contact again. Only a matter of how
many times the shifter is moved until they are broken for good. Your problem
is most likely in the console under the shifter and not up in the shift
handle itself. I think you can repair it without pulling the leather shift
head off.
